United Methodist Youth

The United Methodist Youth of Cokesbury United Methodist Church meet weekly in the fellowship hall on Sunday evening, from 5:30p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Youth leaders Linda Ennis, Joe Bemiller, Robin Bemiller, Monica Arredondo, Michael Gribik, and Paula Simensen try to connect the Gospel of the Lord to every day situations that effect our youth in their Faith Journey.

Any youth of junior high or high school age is invited to join us. Guess what!? Sometimes we actually have fun following the footsteps of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The eventual goal is to learn that just reading the Scriptures and "talking the talk" isn't nearly as important as "walking the walk".

Our Mission Statement

We, the youth of Cokesbury UMYF, will:
  1. Touch at least one life this year.
  2. Participate in planned Worship and Service activities throughout the year.
  3. Guide the children of Cokesbury in the right direction.
  4. Include God in our lives outside of Church.
  5. Continue to learn about God and help others learn about God, too.
  6. Praise God through songs, worship and prayer.
